This service allows Houses of Worship/Societies/Trust Boards/JKKK that own or manage Houses of Worship or the other religious facilities to register their profile records at ORSEM.
Profile record registration can be made online by clicking button “Register” below.
Houses of Worship/Societies/Trust Boards/JKKK that own or manage Houses of Worship or other religious facilities.
Softcopy of supporting documents as follows:
Registration document of House of Worship/Society/Charitable Trust/JKKK as the applicant.
Registration document of House of Worship/Society/Charitable Trust/JKKK as the applicant.
If the house of worship is gazetted under Missionary Societies Ordinance (Anglican Church, Roman Catholic Church, Methodist Church, Borneo Evangelical Mission, The Salvation Army, Sarawak Baptist Church & Sarawak Blessed Church):
- 1 copy of the registration document (eg: registration certificate) of the house of worship issued by the Archdiocese/Diocese/Headquarters.
If the Society is registered under Societies Act 1966:
- 1 copy of the society's registration certificate.
- 1 copy of the branch establishment authorization certificate under Section 12 (if status is a Branch).
- 1 copy of confirmation certificate of the appointment of Office-Bearers under Section 9(b).
If the Trust Board is gazetted under the Charitable Trust Ordinance 1994:
- 1 copy of the Government Gazette which gazettes the Charitable Trust.
- 1 copy of the Trust Purpose as in the gazette.
- 1 copy of the Trust Properties as in the gazette.
- 1 copy of the Board of Trustees as in the gazette.
- Passport size photo of Office Bearers (in jpg, jpeg,gif or png format)
If JKKK certified by the Divisional Resident under the Surat Pekeliling Garis Panduan Pengurusan JKKK (only if the house of worship or religious facility is not owned or managed by a house of worship that is not gazetted under the Missionary
Societies Ordinance or an organization that is not registered under the Societies Act 1966 or a Trust Board that is not gazetted under the Charitable
Trust Ordinance 1994):
- JKKK Registration Certificate
- 1 copy of the list of Registered Members.
- Passport-sized photo of Management Committee of House of Worship /Society/Trust Board/JKKK (in jpg, jpeg, gif or png format).
- Passport size photo of the Project Management Committee (in jpg, jpeg, gif or png format).
- Houses of Worship/Societies/Trusts Board/JKKK must register for SarawakID Corporate first before registering their profiles in ORSEM.
- Houses of Worship/Societies/Trusts Board/JKKK need to register their profiles at ORSEM first before can make any application (Ex: application for fund assistance for house of worship, application for supporting letter for pas lawatan ikhtisas mubaligh etc.).
- Registration is for the purpose of creating a profile record of the House of Worship/Society/Trust Board/JKKK in ORSEM only and not registration under the act/ordinance/law/regulation currently in force.
