BKSS 6.0 Special Assistance for licensed Tourist Guide and National Park Tourist Guide

A one-off payment of RM1,500 is given to licensed tourist guide and national park tourist guide as one of the Sarawak Government special aid under BKSS 6.0 to help ease burden of those in the tourism industry in dealing with Covid-19 pandemic.
1) Must be a Sarawakian.
2) For tourist guide, must have Regional Specific Tourist Guide (RSTG) licence issued by MOTAC.
3) For national park tourist Guide, must have national park tourist guide licence issued by SFC.
4) The licence must be active and valid.
5) If the tourist guide has both licences, payment will only be given for one (1) licence only.

No application is required. The list of recipients is generated from existing source as listed below:
- The list of recipients of licensed Regional Specific Tourist Guide is generated by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC).
- The list of recipients of licensed National Park Tourist Guide is generated by Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC)
A one-off payment RM1,500 will be credited directly to the recipient’s bank account. The recipient is to make sure the bank account registered with SKTGA (for RSTG) or SFC (for National Park Tourist Guide) is valid and active.
