Search and buy orthophotos. Orthophoto are aerial photographs which is geometrically corrected ("orthorectified") such that the scale is uniform. Unlike an uncorrected aerial photograph, an orthophoto can be used to measure true distances because it is an accurate representation of the Earth's surface, having been adjusted for topographic relief, lens distortion and camera tilt. Orthophotos are classified as Restricted and are available to Government agencies, statutory bodies and the general public upon application. Purchase of orthophotos are subject to the prior approval of the Commissioner of Police for security clearance. Upon approval, the products can be collected from sale counters at all Land and Survey Divisional Offices and the Cartographic Section at the Land and Survey Headquarters.
