Apply for Bantuan Ihsan Kematian (BIK)

'Bantuan Ihsan Kematian' also known as 'BIK' is exclusively for Sarawakians where the beneficiaries will be given RM1,800 when the eligible cardholder passes away
The following supporting document are required:
  1. A copy and the original Death Certificate of the KGC holder
  2. A copy of the registered next-of-kin’s bank account number
  3. A copy of the registered next-of-kin’s identity card/passport for non-Malaysian citizens.

Apply online at Sarawak Government Portal (www.sarawak.gov.my)
  1. The registered next-of-kin of a deceased Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) holder.
  2. Deceased KGC holders who did not receive death benefits from the Public Service Department (JPA) (Government retirees).
  3. Deceased KGC holders who were not residents of any government institutions.
  4. The registered next-of-kin of a deceased Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) holder is required to submit the BIK claim within four (4) months or 120 days from the date of death of the KGC holder.

  1. Prepare all the mandatory supporting documents required.
  2. Make sure the supporting documents required are correct and clear.
