Female Head of Household Assistance (KIRWaS) is one of the initiatives by the Sarawak Government for targeted group, who are female head of household (and/or single mother. The KIRWaS assistance is in the form of cash amounting to Five Hundred Malaysian Ringgit (RM500) for one recipient.
Prepare supported documents:
- A copy of applicant’s Identification Card (IC) (Front and Back);
- A front cover copy of Bank Account Book or a copy of Bank Account Statement;
- A copy of Divorce or Death Certificate, or Verification as Head of Household verified by Ketua Kampung/Ketua Kaum (Village Headman/Community Leader) or an officer who has the authorization for verification;
- Income Statement or Letter of Verification on Income; and
- Any related documents
- You can apply online via ‘iSarawakCare’.
- Submit manual application form to Jabatan Wanita dan Keluarga Sarawak.
- Residents who holds identification card with “K” status or a wife to the identification card holder with “K” status;
- Sarawakian Women aged 18 years old and above;
- Single Mothers or Female Head of Household Entrepreneurs;
- Submit completed application form with verified attachments; and
- Household incomes between RM1,169.00 - RM4,849.00 and is not a recipient of assistance from Social Welfare Department.
- Prepare all the mandatory supporting documents required.
- Make sure the supporting documents required are correct and clear.
