Renewal for Certificate of Registration as an Electrical Installation Contractor

Registration as an Electrical Installation Contractor is a certification that recognizes a person who has suitable electrical knowledge and experience of electrical installation practices. Electrical Installation Contractor is allowed to submit plans, drawing and specifications for low voltage that receiving energy from a licensee via a switch gear rated at 60A and below.
The validity period of the Certificate of Registration as an Electrical Installation Contractor is one year. Therefore, a renewal application must be submitted to ensure the company allowed to carry out electrical installation works.
 
 
Documents attachment required for this form:
 
1.    A copy of the Business Registration Certificate
2.    A copy of Business Trading Licence.
3.    A copy of Business Extract.
4.    Name list of Competent Person(s) employed by company.
5.    Detail of equipment and instrument.
6.    A copy Certificate of Competency, EPF/SOCSO statement.
 
Letter of consent (when applicant is not owner of the company)
The application can be made through the online application systems as below:
  1. eUTILITIES System at  https://eutilities.sarawak.gov.my, atau
  2. Sarawak Government Portal at https://sarawak.gov.my
 

  1. Registration of Business in Malaysia
  2. Hired a competent person or himself is a competent person.
  3. Insurance coverage for employees under the Employees Social Security Act 1969
  4. Possession of suitable equipment and instruments related to the work.  
  5. Letter of consent (when applicant is not owner of the company)

  1. Valid trading license
  2. Valid Certificate of Competency for Employee/Employer
  3. Insurance coverage for employees under the Employees Social Security Act 1969

  3. Bank Draft
  4. Postal Order
Payment via Bank Draft or Postal order must be paid to "Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak".
