Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Supervisor is a certification that recognizes a person who has sufficient knowledge of modern electrical engineering practices, including the principle of operation of equipment used for generation, transmission, distribution, utilization, protection and metering in electrical installations and energy efficiency management. The person must attend and pass the interview by the Board of Examiners.  
 
Electrical Supervisor is allowed to:

1. submit plans, drawings and specification for low voltage and receiving energy from licensee via switch gear rated at 100A and below;
2. visit & inspect, work, operate or to be in control of any work or operation of an installation required by any owner, management or licensee of the installation for the installation operates at voltage not exceeding 600 volts.

 
Application for endorsement of the Certificate of Competency as a Competent Electrical Engineer is to change the certificate’s restriction, upgrading the certificate or change of name/religion.

Documents attachment required for this form:

1. Relevant supporting letter to change the certificate’s restriction from company.

Applicant criteria for endorsement application for Electrical Supervisor:
 

1. Valid Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Supervisor 
2. Have supporting document for the purpose of endorsement.

Application is not eligible for endorsement application for Electrical Supervisor:
 

1. No attached a Letter recommendation to change the restriction from company.
2. No attached Sworn affidavit certificate for change of name/religion.
