"Bantuan Ihsan Kematian" also known as ‘BIK’ is exclusively for Sarawakians where the beneficiaries will be given RM 1,800 when the eligible cardholder passes away.
1) Beneficiary of the Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) holder who passes away
2) KGC cardholders that does not receive death benefit from Public Service Department (JPA) (Government Retirees)
3) KGC cardholders that are not senior residents in any government institutions
4) Beneficiary who claim BIK within the period of 4 months (120 days) after the KGC cardholders passed away

The following supporting document are required:
1) Deceased KGC Card or Application Slip or JKMS Confirmation Letter;
2) Copy and Original Death Certificate of the KGC Cardholder;
3) Copy of beneficiary's bank account number;
4) Copy of beneficiary's identity card;
5) Certified by Community Head / Tribal Head /Village Head / Tuai Rumah; and
6) Other documents if applicable.

- Submit the application form over the counter at State Welfare Departments, Resident office, District and Sub-district offices and Service Sarawak Centre state-wide.
