Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Supervisor is a certification that recognizes a person who has sufficient knowledge of modern electrical engineering practices, including the principle of operation of equipment used for generation, transmission, distribution, utilization, protection and metering in electrical installations and energy efficiency management. The person must attend and pass the interview by the Board of Examiners.

Electrical Supervisor is allowed to:
- submit plans, drawings and specification for low voltage and receiving energy from licensee via switch gear rated at 100A and below;
- visit and inspect, work, operate or to be in control of any work or operation of an installation required by any owner, management, or licensee of the installation for the installation operates at voltage not exceeding 600 volts.
Documents attachment required for this form:
- Passport-sized photograph.
- A copy of applicants Mykad and/or passport.
- If Work permit is required, please attach (For Non-Sarawakian only).
- A copy of Diploma certificate or equivalent qualification to a Degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university or institution.
- Copy of Certificate of Competencies currently in possession.
- Details of working experiences.
Applicant criteria for New for Electrical Supervisor:
- Malaysian citizen.
- Age not less than 20 years old.
- Has possession of a Degree or equivalent qualification to a Degree in electrical engineering from a recognize university or institution.
- Experience more than five years working experience in an environment where electrical equipment is in operation and attached report of working experience.
- Pass interview for Electrical Supervisor and pass exam for State Grid Code, Electrical Ordinance and Electrical Rule (EOER) held at accredited institution.

Not eligible for the Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Supervisor :
- Insufficient knowledge and experience in electrical in modern electrical engineering practices, including the principle of operation of equipment used for generation, transmission, distribution, utilization, protection and metering electrical installations and energy efficiency management.
- Failed in the interview by the Board of Examiners
