Sarawakku Sayang Special Assistance 7.0 and 7.0+ are offered to strengthen the activities of enterprises and businesses. 

1.  BKSS 7.0 for SMEs

Special one-off financial assistance of RM10,000 will be given to the active SMEs in Sarawak registered with SOCSO as of 31 March 2021. This special financial assistance will be paid in December 2021.

2.  BKSS 7.0+ for Micro Enterprises

Special one-off financial assistance of RM3,000 will be given to the active micro-enterprises in Sarawak registered with SOCSO as of 31st March 2021.


Important guide for download:
  1. Active Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sarawak registered with SOCSO as of 31st March 2021.
  2. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who fulfilling the following conditions:
    Category Small Medium
    Manufacturing Full-time employees from 5 to less than 75 Full-time employees from 75 to not exceeding 200
    Services and other sectors Full-time employees from 5 to less than 30 Full-time employees from 30 to not exceeding 75
  3. Micro-enterprises across all sectors who fulfilling the condition of less than 5 full-time employees.
  4. A business entity registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) or its equivalent bodies or district offices in Sarawak or other professional bodies. 
  5. Does not include any of the following:
    • Public listed companies that are on the main board;
    • Multinational companies (MNCs);
    • Government-linked Companies (GLCs);
    • Minister of Finance Incorporated Companies (MKDs);
    • State-owned companies;
    • Joint venture projects with government linked companies or government statutory bodies;
    • Foreign Direct Investment;
    • Cooperatives;and
    • NGOs
  6. Must be Sarawakian Company with more than 50% owned and managed by Sarawakians.
  7. Must be registered and actively operating in Sarawak for at least the last three years.
  8. Owner with many businesses registered with SOCSO will only receive one package of the financial assistance, irrespective of the different nature of the businesses or industries.

Note:
Sarawak Government has informed SMEs and Micro-Enterprises who are eligible to receive the special one-off initiative through their official postal and email addresses registered with SOCSO.
 
  1. Company ownership, including name of the owner(s), owner(s) identification card, percentage of share ownership, year of establishment, company address, type of business, contact person, contact number and email address;
  2. Certified copy of Form 9, Form 24, Form 49, Form 78 or digital certified true copy of company profile or digital certified true copy of business profile or digital certified true copy of personal involvement partner and compliance officer or extract of registration of business name and other supporting documents, including the certificate of registration of the company and other certificates issued by professional bodies as well as trade license;
 
  1. Certified copy of the bank statement as the official account to disburse or remit the special financial assistance, which include bank name, bank account number, bank address, company name and company address;
  2. A summary statement of SOCSO showing number of employees contributing to SOCSO for the month of May till July 2021.  Company are required to submit Form 8A of SOCSO or information extract from MyAssist or summary of SOCSO statement, which clearly showing company name, employer ID, number of worker and months
Note:
All documents must be certified by the business owner or director or company secretary or government officer Grade 41 (professional and management group) and to be stamped with company chop.  Business owner or director or company secretary that certified the documents must be registered in the Form 24 and Form 49 or extract of registration of business name or other supporting documents

DO  
  1. A certified copy of Form 9, Form 24, Form 49, Form 78 OR digital certified true copy of company profile OR digital certified true copy of business profile OR digital certified true copy of personal involvement partner and compliance officer OR extract of registration of business name and other supporting documents, including the certificate of registration of the company and other certificates issued by professional bodies as well as trade license;

  2. A certified copy of the bank statement as the official account to disburse or remit the special financial assistance, which include bank name, bank account number, bank address, company name and company address; and

  3.  A summary statement of SOCSO showing number of employees contributing to SOCSO for the month of May till July 2021. Company are required to submit Form 8A of SOCSO OR information extract from MyAssist OR summary of SOCSO statement, which clearly showing company name, employer ID, number of worker and months;

  4. All documents must be certified by the business owner or director or company secretary or government officer Grade 41 (professional and management group) and to be stamped with company chop. Business owner or director or company secretary that certified the documents must be registered in the Form 24 and Form 49 or extract of registration of business name or other supporting documents;

  5. Ensure information such as company registration number, shareholder name, IC number or passport number or company of the shareholder, share in percentage, bank name and bank account number are key in correctly;

  6. The trade license must be valid and renewed. The acknowledgement of receipt for the renewal of trade license must be attached if the renewed trade license has yet to be issued;

  7. Ensure electronic signature is signed on the signature pad of the Declaration Form; and
  8. Scanned documents must be in clear quality resolution.

DON’T
  1. Photocopied of certified digital documents;
     
  2. Expire trade license. Acknowledgement of receipt for renewal of trade license is not provided;

  3. SOCSO statement without company name, employer ID and number of employees, including not providing SOCSO statement for month of May until July 2021;

  4. Supporting documents are not obtained from the issuing authorities;

  5. Incomplete submission and not up-to-date supporting documents;

  6. Scanned documents are in poor resolution and only showing portion of the information;

  7. Supporting documents such as Form 9, Form 24, Form 49, Form 78 or extract of registration of business name, certificate of business registration, bank statement and other supporting documents without certification by business owner/director/company secretary/ government officer Grade 41 (professional and management group) and without stamping with company chop;

  8. Personnel bank account number;
  9. Submit the Declaration Form without electronic signatures.
The special one-off financial assistance will be deposited directly to the company’s bank account specified in the submitted Declaration Form.
Eligible SMEs and Micro-Enterprise are required to submit Declaration Form (Business and Trade) online.  Below are the relevant guides for download:
